Item Status Management is based on Lifecycle Base and provided as a working example for this app. With Item Status users are guided through the states an item can be in like New, Calculating, Planning, Released, Phased Out, Blocked, etc. The user decides when an item must go to a next state and Lifecycle Base checks if all conditions are met to accept that next state, or triggers an action like printing a report. Lifecycle Base with Item Status is also the basis for Lifecycles in other apps like Project Control Suite.

Lifecycle Base
